How is nourish different from
other health courses?
Practical
Most health curriculums spend a lot of time teaching body organs and systems more suited to an anatomy course. We take a different approach, helping our students learn practical skills and implement life-long habits.
Foundational
We teach natural health principles that focus on whole foods nutrition, cooking, exercise, rest, and other lifestyle factors that help students make wellness a way of life now and into adulthood.
Biblical
It’s impossible to study health without considering our Creator and how He designed us – spirit, soul, and body. Everything we do in nourish is viewed through the lens of scripture.
I appreciated that she was learning about health and wholeness in all areas – spiritually, mentally, physically & nutritionally.
A fun class where you get to learn about yourself and how to treat and protect yourself the way that God planned. Also, you get to make super yummy and healthy food!
I saw a well-rounded view of health develop in my daughter. She grew in her understanding of nutritious foods and healthy life habits that will benefit her for a life time.
about the instructor
Hi. I’m Connie – homeschool mom and lover of natural health – especially nutrition! Nothing makes me happier than supporting moms in their quest to teach their teens the practical skills and habits they need to take good care of themselves.
My heart’s desire is to know Jesus better each day and align my life with His. I hold a traditional naturopathy degree from Trinity School of Natural Health, but learned the most by being in the trenches of everyday life – feeding my family whole foods, accommodating food sensitivities, and learning to take responsibility for my own health.
My two healthy-eating kids are now college graduates which means I get to spend my time investing in the lives of other homeschoolers!
